Like all new moms - I was trying to figure out the eating schedule and sleeping schedule. And that means - which swaddle can keep my infant baby from waking herself up!

I literally tried everything.

Here are my experiences with these great brands - that may or may not work with your baby, but you should try them :)

My Review: I love the two pocket feature. I also love that it's just one velcro - but during the night, having to change her diapers multiple times in the early weeks always woke her up easily. I think it's great for now (3 months +), but you have to have a less sensitive baby to enjoy these velcro wraps. Indie Rey is a sensitive baby. Ha!

2. The Ollie World: After being a foster parent to a boy named Oliver, Hindi transformed baby Oliver after having trouble eating and sleeping. The Ollie Swaddle offers therapeutic benefits:

Eases the transition from the womb.
Decreases irritability while promoting self-soothing.
Encourages calming to increase bonding.
Enhances quality of sleep to improve rest and cycle regulation.
Decreases the risk of hip dysplasia.

My Review: I love how tight it allowed Indie Rey to feel snuggled and womb-like. It also has three velcros BUT the bottom tie is a wonderful way to change their diapers at night without having to unswaddle them on top.

3. Swaddle Me: These are easily found in Target or any accessible stores with baby products. They're made of soft fabric and gently hugs your baby! This swaddle wrap design creates a cozy, womb-like feeling for your babe and helps to prevent the startle reflex that often causes unnecessary wakings. Size small/medium fits babies 7-14 lbs.

My Review: I love the soft fabric, but again, you have to un velcro the entire thing to change their diapers. My baby Indie Rey is sensitive, so this isn't ideal, but maybe my next baby would be a deep sleeper :)

4. Love to Swaddle: This Love To Swaddle Up Organic – Cream is the perfect combination of a soothing swaddle and just the right amount of freedom to keep your baby comfy when sleeping. This Love to Swaddle UP Organic is made with 95% cotton fabric, 5% elastane fabric that is GOTS certified and processed without harmful chemicals and still allows your little one to sleep in his natural position with his arms up.

My Review: Indie Rey loves having her arms up! She loves being free - so this was ideal. We used this for a few weeks, but now I hardly swaddle her that tightly anymore at 3 months.

5. Margaux and May - A Good ol' swaddle blanket. Made with 100% ORGANIC COTTON
Margaux & May is proud to use GOTS certified organic cotton with all their swaddle blankets . Their blankets are 47" x 47" and durable, wash and dryer friendly.

My Review: Indie Rey hardly gets swaddled at night anymore, but during the day I always use this swaddle for a quick wrap and nap! We love how large the blankets are and the prints are just lovely!

I wish I had a hammock for myself to go shopping in!

The Binxy baby hammock is truly a great product and invention by mom of four, Lisa Pinnell. She solved the problem of carrying your huge car seat into the store (although, the hammock does hold your infant car seat) and/or carrying them on your body while you shop!

The hammock also allows more room for you to pile one more things you (probably don't need) while running errands. If you're like me, I love taking my sweet time at Target, and coming out with all sorts of things I really don't need - this shopping hammock will allow you to do that WITH your baby!
